Life Doesn’t Get Easier, We Just Get Stronger
During our childhood years, we assume that all adults do is take care of their responsibilities. However, with maturity, we realize that there are many stages of life, each with its own separate experiences of difficulty. As children there are concerns about examinations; in adulthood the focus shifts to the worries about family, finance, health and responsibilities. No stage of life is easy. We are still going to get bills. Our problems will continue and will not wait for any special occasion. What does occur is that we develop greater levels of strength. We learn stress management and how to maintain our composure in times of crisis. We discover that not every challenge brings with it a need for a feeling of fear or panic; some just require a little time and patience. The evidence of one’s strength is not always indicated by overt manifestations of strength or power.
